1.WHO ARE WE?
Circulo Textil Servicios Textiles, S.L was born in 2005, after a two-year experience in digital textile printing. This makes us Spain's first textile digital printing company for third parties. We maintain now the same spirit we had back then: to offer an easy and efficient solution for those who want to give their creations the added value of original, unique, textile printing.
Our company is divided in two main areas:
- Digital Textile Printing: digital textile printing is a quite new technology that meant a revolution for any fashion, decor and graphic designer back at the turn of this century. This was due to the fact that, for the first time in history, any person has the possibility to create a clean but industrial-quality print on any kind of fabric, regardless of the number of colors or meters to produce. In Circulo Textil we have a very simple way of working: the client sends us her/his images and chooses the fabric where he/she wants us to print them (you can also send your own fabric!*), we process her/his order and, in just a few days, she/he receives her/his printed textile. Anyone can do it and orders start at just 7 €/square meter!
You will be able to complete the ordering process online soon, in the meantime you can contact us by email, phone or skype. We will be happy to accept orders, but you can also contact us if you want to receive a textile swatch booklet or have any doubts.
- Customized products: due to the high demand of our clients, we have created a catalogue of textile products that reach from purses to t-shirts, scarves, table wear, or backpacks, with one common characteristic: the client designs the print or prints that will be printed on the object, and Circulo prints the fabric and makes the object in its premises, to guarantee the highest quality, care, uniqueness and the quickest times.
Just have a look to our products, contact us by email, phone or skype to place your order or ask any questions.
Besides these two main areas, our company has a textile design department in order to fulfill the specific design necessities that might overcome our clients. We can, for instance, systematize a design in order to convert it into a repeat module for a pattern, so that our client might attain an equilibrated, problem-free design. We can also respond to greater necessities, such as the design of a whole collection starting out with its trend and color charts, and ending up with technical sheets for printing, embroidery, or other areas. Also, Circulo has its own textile design brand, present at some international fairs.
You can find us in Madrid's metropolitan area, within few meters of a Metro station, and we are happy to welcome visitors, but we would be most thankful if you would tell us you are coming to see us before your visit. This is due to confidentiality criteria, and to our necessity to prepare visits and be ready to welcome you in the best possible way. We are open from Monday to Friday from 9 am until 6 pm (8 am to 3 pm in July and August). If you are not in Madrid or can't pay us a visit for whatever reason, we will be delighted to talk to you on the phone, or skype, or email, and send you a sample swatch book free of charge.

2. WHY IS THIS THE MOST ECOLOGICAL FORM OF THEXTILE PRINTING?
Textile dyeing and printing processes are not usually too eco-friendly. Thousands of liters of polluted waters are discarded every hour. This does not happen with digital textile printing. In digital textile printing, water is just not part of the process. Also, classic dyes are highly pollutant elements, and have a high environmental cost. Digital printing dyes are much less greasy, and, what is more important, in the traditional textile printing process there can be as much dye expenditure as 100 liters per color per hour, whereas in digital printing we count our waste of ink by the milliliter. Furthermore, it takes lots of fabric to start a printing mill running (it is easy to see amounts of 50 to 100 meters gone to waste in the starting procedures for traditional textile printing), while we normally waste as little as half a meter. Our printing method is the only one in which the fabric must not go through a complicated and less than environmentally-friendly process in order to be able to receive the digital printer's dye.

3. WHAT FABRIC TO CHOOSE?
We at Circulo Textil make an effort to offer you as many well-liked fabrics as we can. We chose these fabrics because we have had experience with them, we know our clients like them and they are problem-free in regards of the printing process.
As a general rule, we divide our fabrics in two types: synthetic or with a high synthetic percentage, and natural fibers. Inside each of these groups you can find many different kinds of fabrics to make many different things. It is important to know that a synthetic fabric will make a color look much stronger than a natural one (many people think synthetic fabrics give too much contrast to color while others think our colors on natural fabrics look faded in comparison to the synthetic ones). Also, synthetic fabrics can be washed more freely, and you can wash your fabric even if your order is as little as one meter.
You can find more suggestions about what use to give to any one of our different fabrics on the digital printing page.
If this explanation is not enough for you, we suggest that you order a fabric swatchbook, it is totally free and you will receive it in just a few days. Just look up in our fabric list the fabrics you want to see, feel and compare, and send us an email to info@circulotextil.com with the following details:
* Complete name
* Complete address where you want to receive your swatchbook.
* Telephone number an email.
* The names of the fabrics you would like to receive.
You will receive an envelope in just a few days, with real fabric swatches printed with mini-color guides.

4. SEND YOUR OWN FABRIC
Maybe you feel risky and want us to print a piece of fabric that is not in our catalogue. In this case you need to take under consideration a few conditions about your fabric:
1. It needs to be less than 160 cm. wide.
2. Both sides of the fabric need to be finished.
3. You need to give us the exact composition.
4. The fabric needs to be totally white.
5. We will ask you to give us one extra meter per print in orders smaller than 10 meters and 5 extra meters per roll of fabric if more.
6. It needs to be even, with no holes, bumps or cuts.
7. In orders bigger than 1 meter, the fabric must come in a roll.
8. You must point out to us which of the two sides of the fabric is the "printing side", otherwise you will leave the decision to our best judgment.

5. WASHING THE PRINTED FABRIC
Our inks are of the highest quality and all our printed textiles have been though a series of washing tests to observe their resistance and shrinkage.
Some of our fabrics (the all-natural ones) need a finishing process in order to be washed. We can only administer this process to orders higher than 15 meters per fabric. This means that washing is not recommended in orders lower than 15 meters in natural fabrics. You can find on the fabric list in our digital printing section whether you can wash a fabric even if your order is small. Even if you order more than 15 meters of any given natural fabric, and in case your prints are very dark colors, you need to expect some color weakening on different parts of your fabric after the first washings.
If you send us your own fabric to print, we will not have made any washing tests and cannot be held responsible if washing results are not as expected.
Not all fabrics have the same washing or friction endurance, that is why, as a general rule, we do not recommend industrial washing, dry clean, or hand wash of our printed textiles. If you need a fabric that will resist a high washing rate, or even industrial washings, please send us an email, and we will recommend the best-suited fabric for your needs.
We recommend to, in order to maintain color in the best possible way, wash your fabrics inside out in washing-machine short 30ºC programs, with no pre-wash and with phosphate-free soap for color fabrics.
Circulo Textil does not recommend industrial washing for printed natural fabrics.

6. TIPS FOR UPLOADING IMAGES
Send us a 150 ppp image in its real size. More resolution is not necessary and if your image is in a lower resolution, the quality of the print will not be enough. Please remember that we will print the image that you send to us, untouched, unless you ask us to retouch your image. If you do want us to check your image for repeat problems, please let us know when you place your order.
If your imagen is bigger than 10 Mb, do not send it by email. You can use our FTP (please, ask us how to) or any public ftp such as www.wetransfer.com. We suggest that you flatten your image and, if it is too big, save it in JPG format.
We accept TIF, PSD and JPG formats.

7. WILL THE COLORS OF MY PRINT LOOK LIKE WHAT I SEE ON THE SCREEN?
NO. The colors you see on the screen are RGB colors. In RGB, images are created by combining red, green, and blue light. Printed colors are CMYK. CMYK creates different colors in a subtractive process using four colors or inks: cyan (blue), magenta (red), yellow, and black. This means that you will never be able to see on the screen the outcome of your print. Many other factors intervene, such as calibration, ICC profiles, and so on, making things even more complicated.
We want you to be happy with the results of your printing, so we want to insist, there are many ways for you to manage color:
1. Circulo Textil gives you FOR FREE a mini swatchbook with samples of any of our fabrics you want. Each sample is printed with a mini color guide with 43 colors. Not many but maybe enough for a start. Just look up in our fabric list the fabrics you want to see, feel and compare, and send us an email to info@circulotextil.com with the following details:
* Complete name
* Complete address where you want to receive your swatchbook.
* Telephone number an email.
* The names of the fabrics you would like to receive.
You will receive an envelope in just a few days, with real fabric swatches printed with mini-color guides.
2. many times our clients need more color gamut than what is given on our free mini swatchbooks, mostly when working with many colors, or doing many prints for the same fabric. For this cases, we at Circulo offer a big color chart, with more than 2000 colors in it, working exactly as the mini swatchbooks do, printed on your favorite fabric, for only 32 € (plus tax and shipping). If you want one or more color charts, please send us an email with your name, address, your shipping preferences (express, normal, or you pick it up), and the name or names of the fabric you want it printed on. We will send you an estimate, and, after your confirmation, we will print your charts and send them to you along with an instruction CD with a digital chart. These color charts, as well as the small color swatchbooks, have an expiry date (usually, 6 months after they are printed).
3. You might find yourself in this situation: your images contain photos, gradients, or textures, not too easy to re-color. If this is your case, you only have two options: if you are not in a hurry, you can create an image as wide as the fabric and 1 meter tall and fill it with as many swatches, color variations, line variations, as you want. When you receive it, you can choose the best results and print confidently. If you are in a hurry, or you don't want samples, your only option is to run the risk.

8. HOW DO I USE MY COLOR GUIDES
- Turn on your computer.
- Open Adobe TM Photoshop.
- Do not open any documents, just go to Edit, Color settings.
- In color spaces, CMYK, choose Coated FOGRA 27.
- In the same window, on "Color management rules", in CMYK, choose "convert to working CMYK"
- Click OK.
- This settings will be saved until you open this window again and change them. Now you just have to open your image, make sure it is in CMYK mode, and re-color it choosing the new colors from the PANTONE solid coated TM library that you will find in you Photoshop color window. The number under each color on our color guides corresponds to the PANTONE solid coated TM number.
We are happy to help. If you have any doubt about this process, please contact us.

9. IMAGE STUDY
Maybe you are printing a fabric for the first time in Circulo, or maybe you have printed many before but you need to make sure that a photo or a scanned image will look as you want.
If so, think about getting an image studio. You can give us up to 10 images for each study and also you can give us some tips as to what type of print you are aiming to get (high or low color, for instance). We will transform you image /s into different image proposals, and print all of them on a piece of 1 linear meter of the fabric of your choice.
The result will be a piece of fabric with your image/s printed in different colorways, all numbered so you can pick the one you most like and just let us know which one it is. Then we can print it for you and you will be sure the results will look just as you wished.
This procedure has a fixed price of 50 €, independently of the fabric you choose.
Image studies have a 1 month deadline after which the results of the printing might not be exact to the study .

10. WHAT COLORS WILL YOU CHOOSE FOR THE TRIMMING OF MY PRODUCTS?
Circulo´s trimmings (bias binding, borders, zippers, cords, etc.) are of the best quality, and we have an ample selection of colors. We will always choose the best-fitting colors for the dominant colors in your print, but if you have any special requests regarding color, composition, or any other thing, please send us an email and we will try to comply with it.

11. SHIPPING
If you want us to send you your order, we want you to be informed about how we will do it. Once your order is ready, if it is customized products or less than 26 meters of the same printed fabric, we put each object in an individual bag or fold your fabric and put it in a box or bag (easier to handle and less costly for shipping). If your printed fabric order is bigger than 26 continuous meters, it will be put into a roll (or more than one), protected by several layers of paper and one of high-resistance plastic wrap. Inside your package you will find your invoice unless custom instructions specify a different arrangement.
If you choose the express shipping, you will have your order in the shortest possible time. We will send it with Tourline Express, that serves all of Spain and most parts of Portugal in 24 hours, and the rest of the world in 48-72 hours (packages weightier than 3.5 kilos and destined to the outside of the Iberian peninsula will be handled by Postal Express with the same expected transit times).
If you choose the normal shipping, we will send your package via the Spanish Postal Service and will take between 2 and 10 days depending on the location, time of year and customs.

12. RUSH RATE
Are you in a hurry? Your printed fabric can be manufactured in less than 2/3 days! If you pay this surcharge, a 20% of the total of your order before VAT and shipping (minimum 20 €), and you order before 2 pm on any working day (from Monday to Friday, not Madridian bank holidays) we promise to send it to you within the next 2/3 working days. For instance, if you place your order at 12 am on Tuesday, it will be sent by Thursday (or at most Friday) of the same week. If your order is for customized products, please ask us about the rush order turn-over time. If, due to reasons beyond our control, we are not able to comply with this compromise, we will contact you as soon as possible to tell you about it, and give you the possibility of stopping your order altogether or getting your rush rate money back.

13. HOW TO ORDER?
We will soon have a wholly automatized ordering process via web. Until then, please send an email to info@circulotextil.com, including your name, address and all the VAT-related information you want to see in your invoice. Also send your image or images, if they are smaller than 10 Mb, send them to the same email. If they are bigger, ask us to open a folder in our ftp or send them via any public ftp such as www.wetransfer.com. Please remember to tell us if you need our rush rate and how you would like us to send your order to you. When we receive all this, we will send an estimate and some conditions to your email, and a Paypal payment request (you don’t need to have a Paypal account in order to pay, you just need a credit or debit card). Once we receive your agreement to our estimate and conditions and your Paypal payment, we will start the printing process.
